Harvesting in the Marlborough Sounds
During the development of KohiKAI between 2016-2018, we tested the application extensively amongst the iwi of the Te Tau Ihu forum in the top of the South Island, NZ.
Many of those tests involved interaction between Kaitiaki and harvesters and so when we issued our first digital permit we decided to follow our customary harvester into the Marlborough Sounds with our cameras.
Here is a brief compilation of some of the stunning footage that was captured during this trip.
